Pacific Anthropology Team

Traditionally, curatorships in museums have been defined around individuals.  The truth is, it takes many people to properly look after, study, and safeguard collections.

Through the generosity of Chicago’s Regenstein Foundation, we have been able to realize a dream long held for our Pacific collections.  We now have a true Pacific Curatorship for these remarkable collections. We employ an endowed team of dedicated experts: the Regenstein Curator of Pacific Anthropology, Collections Manager of Pacific Anthropology, Conservator of Pacific Anthropology, and annual interns. Our team also includes a collections assistant, research associates, and a number of volunteers.
